Power Outage? It wasn’t me!

Filed under: Community — ken @ 3:21 pm

The power in my house flickered last night, confusing the computers and clocks. I was playing with a light at the time, and was sure it was something I did. However, I’ve heard from others in distant neighborhoods that the power went out for them, too. So, if you thought you’d caused something, rest easy. It wasn’t just your house.

If it’s Spring, there must be Egg Hunts

Filed under: Community, Park & Rec — ken @ 12:16 pm

Piazza Carmel is holding their Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 22 from 12:00 to 3:00. See the Piazza Carmel Events Page for more information. And, Torrey Hills is holding their Egg Hunt on March 22 from 10:00 to 12:00. Expect the Torrey Hills event to be way too busy, as we’ve lost some of the other events in the area recently. If you’re a Realtor looking for good publicity next year, consider hosting an event at the CV Rec Center. With the housing slump, you’ll probably need all the publicity you can get! If you’d like to host an event, contact the Rec Center Staff at 858-552-1616.
